Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Is It Good?
Hello guys.. Finally, I am back. Thanks to a little university break that I just got :) Today I am going to give my thoughts on the new blockbuster movie. Yep! It's Jurassic World! (WARNING! There may be spoilers in the review! If you do not wish to be spoiled, better took a step back.)
Well as a big dinosaurs fan, I do enjoy the movie. I like to see the dinosaurs the old one and also the hybrid one. They all looks cool to me. I love the idea of the new dinosaurs that was introduced in the movie. Dinosaurs are just the best. I won't have any comment on the dinosaurs they did great in the movie. Although I would like it better if the dinosaurs is just the way they are without having some comical gestures added in them. But I guess it was just the way of the director trying to distract the audience from the real tense once in a while.
If I look at the movie as a movie lover, I do really disappointed with the plot. The story builds up just fine until it reach the end. I have to say I was not satissfied with how the story resolved. Like it is too soon to end. Plus I feel it has the same vibe like the first Jurassic World but they wrapped it in the different way. I was so dissapointed that the supposedly great Indoraptor just died like that even the struggle is not as much as the struggle when they fought Indominous Rex. How I wish they add the duration of the struggle, it will be perfect. But revealing that the great trouble awaiting them after the dinosaurs was out in the loose kinda make up for it. It does makes me think of what will the government do to deal with the problem. And how could they restore the civilization the way that it should be. I will be looking forward to next sequel.
There is also one thing that kind of bothering mu mind. In the very beginning, we are shown that the Mosasaurus was there out in the open sea, I thought the movies will more about the sea dinosaurs, but I was wrong it got nothing to do with the Mosasaurus. I was so hyped but as long as the plot moving I don't get any sight of the Mosasaurus. It feels like some information might be missing because of the editing of the movie.
For the actors, I like all of them. They seems to portray their character well and could makes a real good connection with the audience. Not a single bad review for all of them. Good work fellas! If I have to give a score, I will give it 6 out of 10. It's good enough to watch but I don't really like it that much.
In the movies, there are some debatable topics. Whether you should save the dinosaurs or let them die just as how it supposed to be. If that choice was given to you would you save the dinosaurs? Comment down below which side you are on. Or maybe you could write down whether do you agree with me about this movie.
